Beveled Stained Glass Window Panel 13.5 x 20.5 Green Bubble Butter Plate

This piece is made using the Tiffany Foil method in my studio in West Virginia. It measures 13 1/2" x 20 1/2". I started with a small vintage Bubble Green Bread and Butter plate by Anchor Hocking from the 1940s-60s. I then surrounded it with various cuts of green and clear textured glass. The outer border is finished in beveled glass that will reflect many colorful prisms in the sunlight!

The solder is darkened with black patina and the panel is framed with an oak frame. There are two hooks for hanging.

I have applied a coat of carnauba wax and polished the piece to a shine. You can do the same if over time your panel needs a little face lift.
