Vintage antique stained glass window panels

I was told they came from a local church in madison va, but i have dealt with stain glass before and this isnt glass this is like hard gel kind of hard to explain im hoping somebody can tell me what they are. They are absolutely beautiful in the light or it looks like someone gelled over the stain glass. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
