The two trees meet and intertwine. The design behind this window is that each tree represents a person, together they interweave because of the way we touch each others' lives. These two flowing trees have been created for wedding, anniversary gifts, birth of a child, any occasion. This window features subtle colors, a blue cathedral background glass with a green and blue border, clear and a moon. 3-D brass and copper leaves are added to create the leaves.

The original mountain image is hand cut and sandblasted. Panel Size 10" X 22.75" approx. The window can be left pure, or a name and special date can be sandblasted to the bottom to create a unique heirloom gift. This can be done with the names of a bride and groom and a wedding date or a quote. We have had customers choose a special poem, a musical lyric to add that special meaning. You will receive a proof for your approval. First, Linda chooses each piece of glass for beautiful color and drama. Additional glass is chosen to add texture and sparkle to the design.

In a time extensive process, one by one, each piece of glass is hand cut, fitted, wrapped in foil or lead came and soldered. Robert then creates a mask of the name design, exposes it with a camera, washes out the film and after it has dried applies it to all the pieces of glass that require sandblasting. The portion of the glass is covered in paper to protect the piece that doesn't get blasted. Then in a hand designed sandblasting booth, Robert sandblasts each piece to create the frosted look.

The window is framed in sturdy zinc with hooks included at the top. This panel is built with the copper foil and lead came technique with a sturdy zinc frame and then buffed and polished with glass wax. About the Artists: Robert Neely and Linda Hiatt-Neely have bachelor's degrees in fine art and have been designing stained glass gifts and windows for since 1985. Linda received her master's degree in 2011 from Lesley University. We use specialty foam, bubble wrap and recycled packing cushion using recycled newspaper end rolls.
