This stained glass panel was created by first sawing the bottles in half with a large diamond saw. All glass edges are then wrapped in copper to allow the parts to be soldered into a sturdy whole. This is the "Tiffany" method.
A zinc border is soldered on and an antique patina is applied to all metal parts. The bottles are 19th and early 20th century vintage selected for color and interest. The bottles are embossed, left to right: ER Durkee & Co. Salad Dressing New York - Eliman's Embrocation -Bromo Seltzer - Glovers Imperial Mange Medicine The last two photos show the reverse side I build these in the USA.
