The original art features an a landscape with a tree as the focal point. The background glass gives the subtle impression of a rain storm.

Subtle clouds are sandblasted and will show at night with the reflection. The clouds have been enhanced with mica. First, Linda chooses each piece of glass for beautiful color and drama. Additional glass is chosen to add texture and sparkle to the design.

In a time extensive process, one by one, each piece of glass is hand cut, fitted, wrapped in foil or lead came and soldered. Then the window is cleaned and a black patina was applied and then waxed. The window is framed in sturdy hooks included at the top. Chain not included (each customer hangs our windows differently).

About the Artists: Robert Neely and Linda Hiatt-Neely have bachelor's degrees in fine art and have been designing stained glass gifts and windows for since 1985. Linda received her master's degree in 2011 from Lesley University.

We use specialty foam, bubble wrap and recycled packing cushion using recycled newspaper end rolls. Feel free to contact our studio for custom work including stained glass, sand-carving, and edge-lit luminary designs.
