Museum suncatcher copy of Zurich artist and printer Christoph Froschauer's 1530 heraldic stained glass panel depicting the Swiss legend of William Tell being forced to shoot an apple off his son's head. This act of bravery and defiance is said to have sparked a rebellion against the Austrian oppressors, laying the foundation for Swiss independence. Glass copy has chain for hanging. The original, which is the third photo in illustrations, is in the Swiss National Museum in Zurich. Dimensions - 10 x 7 1/2 inches.
