Beautiful vintage German leaded stained-glass window hanging depicting the historic coat of arms of Mönchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This elaborate heraldic shield features Saint Vitus holding the martyr's palm, surrounded by fourteen blue stars representing the Fourteen Holy Helpers. A blue wavy band symbolizes the Gladbach stream, while the lower portion displays the crowned black Lion of Jülich, representing Mönchengladbach's historical connection to the Duchy of Jülich. Estimated to date from the mid-20th century, approximately the 1950s-1970s. Condition: Preowned vintage condition with age-related surface wear.
